We’re thrilled to share some exciting progress updates as we approach the grand opening of our new sausage shop! The construction is moving along, and we can’t wait for you to see the final product. For now, here’s what’s happening on-site:
1. State-of-the-Art Facilities: We’ve been busy installing all-new drains throughout the shop. This includes drains in the floor, sinks, smokers, and walk-in refrigerators. This upgrade will ensure that everything runs smoothly and keeps our production area clean and efficient.
2. Concrete Pouring: Just this week, we laid down the foundation—literally! The concrete has been poured, marking a significant milestone and setting the stage for the next phases of our build-out. It’s exciting to see the space starting to take its final shape!
3. HVAC and Refrigeration Work Begins: Our HVAC and refrigeration crews have kicked off their work. These systems are the unsung heroes of our shop, ensuring the perfect climate for our equipment to run smoothly and our products to stay fresh and flavorful.
4. New Gable Roof Above Our Front Door: We’re adding a new A-frame roof over our front door to keep you dry and comfortable whether it’s rain or snow when you visit us. We want to make every trip to our shop enjoyable and hassle-free.
5. Business Sign Variance: We’ve applied for a variance to place a business sign in the grass between the road and the parking lot. This sign will help you find us easily! We have a variance hearing at North Wales’ borough hall on Wednesday, October 2nd and when the opportunity for public comment arises, your support would mean a lot to us!
6. Equipment Delivery Incoming: Over the next few weeks, we’ll be receiving our big pieces of equipment, including the smoker, walk-in refrigerator, grinder, and other production machines. These are the tools that will help us create the high-quality sausages you’ve been waiting for.
7. Anticipated Soft Opening: Although we initially aimed for the end of September, some unexpected construction delays have shifted our timeline. We’re now planning our soft-opening for early October. Stay tuned for the exact date—we can’t wait to welcome you into our shop!
